- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My current rate for a typical 45 minute - 1 hour photoshoot is $235. Family photoshoots are $255. If the preferred photoshoot location is 20 miles or further from my location (92107, Ocean Beach, San Diego), there is an additional $10 travel fee. If you use the full hour for the photoshoot, you will receive 60-70+ fully edited digital photos. For photoshoots where there is a second location to shoot at, there would be a price adjustment which would be discussed. There is no price adjustment for outfit changes, as long as the shoot stays about an hour (which happens almost always for 2 outfits).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client explains to me what they have in mind for the photoshoot (subject of the shoot, concept of the shoot, & location). If a client doesn't have a specific location in mind, I have plenty of ideas and am willing to scout out new locations as well. Once we choose the location & date, the client is free to ask me any questions about what clothes to wear, what to expect, how they will receive their digital photos, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing photography for 13 years and have taken a photography course in college to learn more about the technical skills. I got my Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from SDSU in 2019. I currently work as a full-time commercial interior designer, which is yet another avenue I use to create art and make beautiful arrangements.
