I have around 10 years of experience shooting portraits, events and weddings. I'm happy to work with you to get the type of photo you're looking for. I will go to whatever lengths are needed to get the shot. Seeing people enjoying the end result makes all the hard work that much more satisfying. Jimmy was a very easygoing and flexible photographer. He was very patient as he photographed our large extended family of 15 (including my wily 3 year old son!). We went over in our allotted time and he graciously didn't charge us more for that. Need I say that he was a great value. We got our pictures, edited, back so quickly too, which made it nice because we needed some of the pictures for our holiday cards. He responded to emails very quickly. It should be noted that we were a very rambunctious, 'Type A' sort of group and we provided a lot of the ideas of how we would be composed in each picture. We might have benefitted from more direct guidance from Jimmy on how to be arranged, what angles would look best on us, and getting both kids and adults to look into the camera, but he was probably just going with the flow. A small comment, because we think he would provide that guidance if we were to ask for it. We would definitely utilize his services again! Thanks Jimmy!

He arrived early and stayed till he got enough pictures, He was so efficient in all aspects and got amazing photos of the wedding party, bride and groom and our decorations and guests.

I would 100% hire Jimmy again! He shot both an indoor and outdoor training event we had and did a wonderful job. The quality of the pictures were great. Jimmy was a few minutes early for our meeting time (which I love), was very professional, has a pleasant personality and he captured what I was interested in capturing. He has a great eye for detail and was also very quick to send over pictures after the event. You can't go wrong with hiring Jimmy.

I hired Jimmy to photograph my Mother's 80th surprise party. I live in Portland and the party was in San Diego, so my only contact with Jimmy was through email prior to the event. I was the one bringing my Mom to the party so he had to meet with my cousin at the event. I was SO impressed with him. He was punctual and professional. He took both indoor/outdoor photos for us and some really good ideas of how to "pose" a large party to get a good picture. He was very pleasant and willing to do whatever it took to get the pictures we needed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based a lot on the requirements of the requests. Whether prints are required or not, how many people, how far the event is, etc. Sometimes the price is negotiable depending on the reason. I'm happy to give a discount to the people who serve our country including military, police and firefighters.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will see if the customer already has an idea of what they want and make sure that they get any shots that they are looking for specifically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a self taught photographer that's been shooting for around 10 years. I almost always keep a camera close by, so I'm ready to shoot whenever I need to.
