We found Valley Habitats through Thumbtack. We had a large interior home remodel job and spoke with a few contractors. What we like about Zack, was his pleasing personality, enthusiasm and problem solving attitude. They gave us a very detailed list of all the work along with pricing. We were assigned a dedicated project manager who was onsite everyday. Their crew is very friendly and took care of the house. We ran into some problems during the project and Zack came up with good and practical solutions. Overall we had a very good experience with Valley Habitats. One year out, we have not had any issues and the quality of work has been very good and will highly recommend them.
Our project involved:
Interior painting
Bathroomremodel
Electrical through the entire house
New recessed lighting
New outdoor lighting
New ceiling
New outdoor wooden deck
Built new exterior room
Details: Sketches or a basic idea • Living room • Bedroom • Garage • Bathroom • Dining or family room • Complete renovation • Replace parts of existing structure • No load-bearing structures involved • More than 2,000 sq ft • Home

We had Valley Habitat build our two-level deck, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. The quality of their work is outstanding, you can really tell they take pride in what they do.
What stood out most was their flexibility. Anytime we wanted to make changes or adjustments, they were accommodating and made the process smooth without any hassle. They communicated clearly throughout the project and delivered exactly what we were hoping for.
Highly recommend Valley Habitat if you’re looking for a reliable team that delivers high-quality work.
Details: New deck or porch construction • No existing plans, but I know what I want • Composite or vinyl decking • Residential

Valley Habitats Inc. Added a balcony extension to my condominium. It was a rather complex addition as they had to extend from an already cantilevered balcony and they had to work with my HOA. They did an outstanding job in the time they promised for a reasonable price. An excellent company to work with.
Details: Change the form or function of a portion of a room or structure • Balcony • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • Within the month
Valley Habitats Inc's reply
Thank you Michael for you words, we are proud to be part of your project!

Contracted the company for new flooring, bathroomremodel, some kitchen minor work and Windows replacement. They know what they are doing and you can trust on them 100%. They followed all the right schedules, done a prime job at my condo and it feels like all new the way I had planned! Thumbs up for Andre team, also Zak and Tom for all the coordination and work performed! I”m 100% satisfied with their work.
Details: 2 - 4 windows • Sliding (slides sideways) • Double hung (slides up and down) • Residential

Valley Habitats Inc's reply

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We urge our clients to NOT get prices over the phone. Prices depend on access, current condition and other factors that can be only assessed in person.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We respect our customers, we understand that the customers help pay our bills and they deserve the respect in return!
We put ourselves in the customer's shoes and it helps us understand better what the customer is looking for as well as the obstacles and limitations they may face during the project which helps the job run as smoothly as possible.
We practice good communication to identify issues before they occur.
Honesty and elimination of "surprises"- sometimes we are losing jobs to a lower bid that will "grow during the job.." and it's totally okay!
"When we start a job, We know how it will end"
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a previous realtor and home investor, we understand the value we add to the house with every project. Understanding where to invest to add the best value (not the swimming pool...) and where it's not necessary to invest.
Having over 20 years experience in design, entrepreneurship, and ownership of real estate helps us to establish forward-looking attitude which projects trends up to 5-10 years.
