FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Minimum charge per job: $125 (which covers the first 90 minutes of labor). Average hourly rate: ~$65/hour (plus the cost of materials if not provided by homeowner). Daily Rate: $600/day (for scheduled jobs that take more than 8 hours to complete). ***All jobs are subject to an additional $25-$45 Service Fee / Trip Charge.***
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We establish a connection one way or another, I ask them for any pictures, inspections, reports or information about the project that they can provide. From there I generally cover basic pricing, unless the homeowner or I deem it necessary to do a walkthrough in person to bid the job. Once I confirm that the pricing is approved, we schedule a date and time to execute the work, if we havent already. For projects totaling >$400, a good faith/material deposit equating to 10% of the overall job costs are appreciated.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from SDSU. Apprenticing under my father as a carpenter.
