FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My typical rate is $300 for the first hour and then $150 every hour after. It takes time to warm up to the location, poses and getting photos taken and generally the best photos come during the last half hour of a shoot. Most every day shoots are around 1-2 hours. For bigger groups, special occasions, or all day/multi day events. Prices are adjusted.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Emails, texts, calls are all easy to get details lined up. When it comes to bigger occasions, like a wedding, meeting up a few times prior is most helpful so I can get a glimpse of the desired style and learn the important priorities of the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done Photography professionally and casually for the last 10 years since I earned my BFA degree (Bachelors of Fine Art). I also incorporate photography into metal fabrication and related commissions. I've studied the art of the darkroom, black and white film, paladium, cyanotype and other alternative processes. I've also gotten to use various formatted historical cameras.
