As a first time homeowner I had no idea where to start with my renovations. I had an idea, but Heather really brought it to life! She was able to source some amazing countertops at a price I was very happy with. She also tracked down these amazing backsplash tiles that never cease to get compliments. My favorite part of working with Heather had to be finding all the little detail pieces like the sawed off mason jar light fixtures and hurricane glass lamps for the living room. She listens intently and helps to realize the vision for her client within budget. I absolutely would recommend her for any home design projects!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Once you decide you would like me to be your designer, I will provide a proposal. I estimate the amount of hours your project will take so you have a lump sum, versus being charged by the hour. A half down deposit is required and then payment schedule is broken out based on how large project is. Details of the payment schedule will be included in the proposal.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    My typical process starts with an initial consultation. This involves seeing the space and interviewing with an in depth questionnaire to determine your wants and needs for the space.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I attended the Design Institute of San Diego, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. Since earning my degree, I have worked in the industry for 10 years, in residential and commercial.
