I personally have struggled with losing weight from a very early age, and I thought I had tried every option from going to the gym to dietary pills and I never saw any results. To be honest, this really discouraged me and caused me to just kind of give up, and that's how it's been for the past few years. Rewind to about two months ago, I downloaded Thumbtack and decided to explore the IDEA of a Personal Trainer, but wasn't quite committed to actually doing it yet. I came across many well qualified people, but then I found GitFitNick and something about Nick really caught my interest. All of his clients had nothing but positive and genuine things to say about Nick and the way he trains, and if we're being honest, I HEAVILY rely on reviews. So I decided to ask a couple questions and a few days later, I found myself sitting across from him completely nervous and talking about my goals. Looking back, I kind of laugh at how nervous I was because it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. Most trainers only motivate you when you're physically in the gym, and when you leave, you're out trying to keep the motivation up by yourself. Trust me, I personally know how hard that can be. But with Nick, he does everything in his power to make sure you are motivated 24/7. He will take time out of his day to help if you're struggling with a certain aspect, like grocery shopping or a workout. He never makes you feel like you can't reach a certain goal, and even if you had a hard week staying on track, he'll show you support and kindness like no other. He has this way of making you feel like you're his only client because he's just so genuinely involved in your journey, and without his constant motivation and support, I don't think I would have ever been able to look in the mirror and finally start to be happy with my myself. Although I was only able to train with Nick for two months before having to move back to school, he's already impacted my life in such a wonderful way. He's helped me see more progress in two months than I ever saw in five years, and I'm still pretty shocked. And even though I'm away at university, he still takes time out of his day to check in and makes sure I'm still on track with my goal. So if you're looking for someone who will be there to help every step of the way and will NEVER give up on you, then Nick will be my be #1 choice every single time without fail. I never thought I would say this in my life, but I'm so excited to come back home and start training with you again Nick. You've completely changed my life for the better, and I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you enough. I'm apologize that this review is so long, but I just wanted to give a small inkling of just how amazing Nick really is. And if you've been looking for a sign to get a Personal Trainer, this is it and I sincerely hope you choose Nick.

I was hesitant about getting a trainer at first, but I knew I needed one to help me with my goals, push me, and teach me proper form. My goal was to lose weight and to get strong. I found Nick on Thumbtack and soooo glad I did! Nick is professional, knowledgeable, and will push you while also making the workouts fun. It’s been amazing to see the numbers go down on the scale and shred the inches off while seeing the numbers on my PR’s go up! I could barely squat one plate in the beginning and now I’m doing low box squats at 215 for two reps! I Even when COVID hit, Nick sent me home workouts to do and reminded me to track my calories. I complained a lot and Nick just took it and kept encouraging me. I would also take my daughter during my workouts and he would let her join us after signing a waiver. It’s been awesome having Nick as my trainer and looking forward to seeing more progress. Hire him, ya’ll! You won’t be disappointed.

Nick has been an excellent coach that I highly recommend. He taught me how to achieve the results I want. I addition to the training he also helps with the nutritional plan. Another great thing is that he is the only personal trainer that I have seen so far who keeps track on all the reps and weight used during a session. I found this really helpful to keep me motivated. At some point during my training, my medical condition changed and Nick was adaptable and flexible. He even made research by himself to make sure that he would train me properly and totally adapted his training. He was super available if I had any questions/concerns and I found him very committed to his clients. To finish, Nick is super knowledgeable and very nice. I am completely satisfied by the training I got and the results I have achieved.

I’ve tried it all; weight watchers, fasting, working out on my own, and using other “personal trainers”. Noticed how I put quotations around personal trainers? The personal trainers I used in the past never payed attention to my form during workouts, never really spotted me during difficult weight training, didn’t explain what muscles were being used during certain workouts, and worst of all they were constantly on their phone. Nick is a LEGIT personal trainer. If you’re the type of person who needs the extra support in your fitness journey then Nick is the one for you. From nutrition to exercise Nick is right there beside you every step of the way. I can always count on Nick to ensure I workout correctly and safely and most of all he pays attention and offers tremendous amount of motivation. Nick has been able to sense (without me saying too much) that I feel discouraged during workouts and on numerous occasions Nick has given me the best pep talks to get me back on track. Nick is extremely laid back and is always smiling with a positive attitude no matter what. I HATED any type of exercise before meeting Nick, now I’m so excited to get into the gym and set PRs (personal records). I’ve worked with Nick for only 7 weeks and I’m already seeing amazing results. At my first weigh in (the four week mark) I lost a total of 4 inches off my waist and lost a total of 12 pounds!!! I’m so happy to have found Nick because I’m so excited to continue to develop this new lifestyle with his help.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing varies depending on what program you get and also how many days a week you plan on training. I do 1/2 sessions as well as full hour sessions. There will always be plenty of options to choose from and i am always willing to work things out with people to make sure it fits in their budget. The bigger the program you decide on the cheaper it gets per session. Discounts start at twice a week. I do month-month programs so that way you don't need to get locked into any kind of big contract or anything. I also do package deals for 3 months and 6 months which are cheaper per session as well. I am also able to do bi-weekly billing to make it easier if needed. Sessions start as cheap as $35.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?With a every new potential client i do a free 1-hour health and fitness consultation. Within this 1 hour session we will sit down talk all about your goals, where you want to be and talk about how long it will take and the process needed to obtain these goals. We will talk all about your nutrition and your current workout routines. We will also be doing some body measurements to get a good baseline of where your at now (weight, body fat % and circumference measurements) this way we can make sure we see quantifiable changes to your body month by month. Then we will go through a short little workout so that i can see whats strong, whats weak, whats overactive or under-active, whether there is stability, mobility or flexibility issues and then i will recommend you a program that is the best fit for you. From there nothing left to do but to schedule your first session and get you started towards your goals !
