- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am a real woman owned AND operated business. As a rule I try to estimate how long a job is going to take so that I can give the customer a price for the total job instead of an hourly rate, so they know what they will be spending. I know my rates are lower than most and it’s not because I think my quality of work is lesser than those charging more, it’s simply because I want to be fair to people, so they call me the next time they need something done...and refer me to family, friends and associates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
On the day of appointment I always text or call the customer to communicate my approximate ETA. Upon arrival I go over the scope of the project, the estimated time to complete the project and the customers expectations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
20+ years working with my fathers construction company and in 2017 I started a company of my own here on Thumbtack.
