Ernesto is seriously the best for tile, stone and concrete. He refinished our concrete countertops and they came out beautifully. He also did the tile work around our fireplace and it’s stunning. He’s quick, professional and detail oriented. I will be using him for all of our tile and stone needs!

We hired Ernesto and Marina for the tile and granite work on our Jack and Jill bathroom remodel. What won him the job over the 2 other contractors in the bid, in addition to his great reviews, was his breakdown and pricing of all the job's elements, his explanation of how he would be accomplishing the job, and his presentation of a detailed written quote generated from his Ipad. Everything about that process said PROFESSIONAL I had taken the 1940's construction down to the studs and joists and built back, so except for a little settling, the walls and floor were pretty straight. New drywall, plywood sheeting and cement board was the base. Ernesto took those lines and turned them into perfection. The result was a marble tile shower enclosure and wall surround complimented with a marble accent rail along with granite countertops and tile flooring that turned a dated 60's look (last remodel) into something far more elegant. Floor square footage of each space was about 55 feet, a fairly small area. Shower pan was a custom Corian one piece from Custom Shower Bases. Granite: Great cutting and fitment, edge design, and undermount sink layout. Wall tile: Large format (12 x 24) marble to minimize grout lines, 1/16" grout lines, laid perfectly flat, perfectly vertical. The shower enclosure frame fit up to the walls with absolutely no gap, a testament to his efforts at making the walls perfectly vertical. Floor tile: 12" porcelain from Lowes (yeah, I know) chosen for the perfect color, 1/8 grout lines, laid in a diamond pattern. Floor tiles required a lot of cutting and shaping to go around the rounded shower pan, and the result was excellent. Underlayment and grout for all tile was Laticrete, chosen from previous experience. Ernesto took his time, responded to all my concerns, and showed up every day at the time he said he would. The only improvement I could suggest to him is a little more attention to detail in the final grout clean-up. With clean-up and touch-up now done, the end result is fabulous!
