Introduction: I'm an attorney who has been practicing for over 15 years. I started my practice with large national law firms and worked with them for several years before opening my own practice a few years ago. I have represented clients ranging from Fannie Mae, Goldman Sachs, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and Bank of America to local wineries and small businesses to individual home owners and debtors. I have extensive experience in all aspects of transactional real estate, real estate finance, and bankruptcy, including purchase and sale, leasing, development, title and survey review, construction and permanant financing, purchase loans and refinancing, and Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

John was the primary legal counsel for the Yerba Buena Island Residence Mutual Benefit Corporation. He worked to generate the legal correspondence between us and Treasure Island Development Authority. In this complex and ongoing issue John has been a great asset & solid legal counsel

For most of us, hiring an attorney is about as pleasurable as a double root canal. Thankfully, working with John has always been a great experience. Smart and proactive, John Skowronski is reliable, professional, and easy to communicate with. And what I really appreciate is he helps demystify law for those of us who don't speak fluent legalese. Highly recommended.
