- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of a top-tier law school and have over 20 years experience with some of the nation's most highly respected business and real estate departments at national and California-based law firms. I developed a broad-based transactional real estate, real estate finance, and consumer bankruptcy practice with extensive experience in both commercial and residential real estate. I received my B.A. from the University of Virginia, where I majored in Russian Studies and Religious Studies. I received my J.D. from the University of Colorado in Boulder, where I received the BXG Legal Scholarship and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Rothgerber Moot Court. I am a member of the Real Property section of the American Bar Association and the Real Estate and Business Law sections of the California State Bar.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Throughout my career, I have advised both large business clients as well as families and individuals. I have advised large institutional clients (including Wal-Mart, McDonald's, Walgreens, FedEx Office, Goldman Sachs, Prudential, Genentech, Shorenstein, etc.), developers (including Lennar, Pulte, AKT Development, etc.) as well as small business owners, individual investors, home owners and individuals in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, real estate finance and bankruptcy.
