FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography has always been a passion of mine. When I'm not getting paid to shoot, I'm shooting for fun! I started my professional career in digital marketing for fashion brands. I often took photos as a part of my job and people started to notice my work. I started getting asked to shoot freelance jobs outside of work and over time I was able to start my own business and do photography full time.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Fashion lookbooks, social media content, website content, food photography, portraits, engagement photos, special events, weddings, and promotional materials
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I think people are often unaware of how much work goes in to planning and prepping for shoots. It may seem like the photographer is just snapping away, but they have spent a lot of time figuring out the best lighting, the best location, the proper equipment, the best poses to suggest, or direction to give so that you get the most flattering shot. It also takes a great deal of experience and creativity to step in and style shots in a way that will make it compelling. There is a lot more behind the scenes than one might think.
