- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every case I take requires an upfront retainer to secure my services. The retainer varies based on complexity of the case. From this retainer I deduct monthly fees, as incurred by work done per the hourly rate. The customer must replenish his/her retainer monthly to maintain a positive account balance.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview as many attorneys as you need until your gut tells you which one is the right fit for you. Remember, you have to feel comfortable speaking with and trusting the attorney with your matter. Usually, your gut is the best compass in helping you reach this decision.
