She was my teacher for one year at university. And what I can say is she tried really hard to help us and teach English in an enjoyable and attractive way. The methods she used were efficient to keep us interested in English. I learned for the first time that learning a language is not about knowing the grammatical structure of the language, but being able to communicate with people verbally. I moved recently from Germany to the United States. And I thought I am well prepared, my english is fine (could be better though), I accomplished a few things I am proud of and I am ready to conquer this new world. Turned out - there is so much to learn. I reached out to Susan to help me. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Rates are variable depending on the intensity and duration of the service desired. A plan and price structure will be presented after an initial conversations. Rates can range from $60 to $120 per hour, depending on the circumstances, logistics and project duration.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with an introductory conversation by phone or video chat to determine the client's particular needs, interests and preferred ways of working together. If the client is interested in proceeding, I prepare a plan and submit it for approval or adjustment by the client. Then, we proceed!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters of Arts in Education/TESOL from the University of San Francisco granted in 2004. I have been a full-time English language instructor and teacher trainer since that time, working in China, Turkey and the United States.
