Raj is thorough and adapted well to the course work I needed to go over. Very knowledgable in Calc and hope to pick his brain for othe levels of mathematics and programming. I definitely recommend for college math students.

Rajesh is a very good tutor. Patient and detailed. My son and I were both very impressed. However, after our initial meeting, he advised he had decided against tutoring my son due he typically taught older students and wanted goal-specific challenges. As he had been the one to respond to my request for a tutor, and because we had discussed my son's needs in advance of meeting, I am disappointed because it took a lot to convince my son to meet with a tutor in the first place. Would recommend that anyone seeking Raj's services, especially one seeking tutorial services for a child, have another tutor lined up in case similar situation occurs.

Hi Linda, I believe I made it clear on the phone that the first meet up was going to be just an "informational" and "get to know each other" kind of meet up, free of charge. Think of it as a standard two-way interview, without any fees. Both of us were then free to decide if we wanted to pursue this or not. I gave it a shot and then decided it wasn't for me - can you really blame me for that? You were free to do the same 100%. At least I was willing to give it a shot - it's the first step.
That being said, there are several other tutors on Thumbtack that I'm sure would be more than happy to tutor your son. You just need to send out another (free) request and get in touch with them.
