This review is long overdue but I cannot praise Matt and Forsyth Designs enough. He is a true artist and professional. Worked with me down to the last details me has the patience of a saint. Made my flowers one of my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE things about our wedding; I was speechless when I saw the results of his work, he made the venue magical. We got TONS of compliments from everyone specifically on the florals. I’m a perfectionist with high standards, but I think he’s more of a perfectionist than I am. Don’t hesitate to use him. ❤️❤️❤️

We had a few hiccups with our event and had to change venues late in the planning process. This did not phase Matt as a problem in the least and was quick in finding the perfect new venue. Also, our budget did not allow for the anticipated amount for decor. Again, Matt worked his magic and the decor was a complete hit, really tying together our 80s themed Prom Night. Matt stays cool, calm, and collected throughout the whole planning process, which really adds to an overall smooth experience. If you are looking for an event planner, here is your guy!

If you're considering working with Matt and his team DO IT, they will not disappoint!!! Matt was very responsive, professional and easy to work with since our first conversation. He decorated two large venues for my wedding. He listened to what I was envisioning, took into account my Pinterest board, and made it even better than what I was hoping for. He even very gracefully accommodated my last minute switch to ALL my bridal flowers a couple days beforehand. Working with Matt was a breeze and I wish all my wedding vendors were this easy to work with! I would 1000% recommend working with Matt and Forsyth Designs.
I loved working with Matt. He was the florist for my wedding and I loved all the floral arrangements he provided. I was very specific of how I wanted things to look and he delivered and more! Not only was Matt responsive and professional, he listened to what I wanted and worked effortlessly to make my wedding vision board come to life. I couldn't have asked for a better florist! I highly recommend hiring him!

We are so glad we found Matt on Thumbtack! We were in the market for someone who could set up decor at our reception the day of. Matt was super responsive, had a meeting with us a week before the wedding to hear our vision, and went above and beyond on our wedding day to execute the set up. He exceeded all expectations! Matt even offered to pick up some flowers and helped us out a ton!! Upon arriving to the reception, I was blown away by the set up, especially our sweetheart table. Cannot recommend Matt enough. If you’re looking for help day of or a florist, Matt is your guy! Sadly I didn’t take too many photos during the wedding so these are the only ones I have.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always meet or speak on the phone first to go over everything from your vision to budget. Then we will have a very collaborative process where we take your ideas, expand on them, present them to you, suggest things you might not have considered and then implement it all.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Many years ago I was asked by two of my best friends to design their wedding. They had full confidence in my background with interior design and wouldn't take no for an answer. Having never done a wedding, I took on the challenge and brought their vision to life and with that it started the event side of my business....many weddings, birthdays, baby showers & corporate events later I'm very happy they asked me to design their big day!
