FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'll outline a full scope of work for you before beginning the project, including an estimate of my hours. Please note that I have an 8 hour / $920 minimum for my time and services (not including furniture/accessory purchases) for any new projects beginning after 11/1/23 and begin to offer discounts after 10 hours of work. I charge an hourly rate and will clearly outline any purchasing costs (ie: new furniture or organization products) prior to purchase. I'm happy to build a corporate proposal for any commercial clients as needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always start with a quick intro call (about 15 mins) to go over the project so that you can describe your goals for the space in more detail and we can make sure that we're a good match! From there, I like to see photos or videos of your space (a facetime is even better!) so that I can give you an accurate quote before beginning the work. My Scope of Work will include a quote for the project along with a list of services that I'll complete. Once you've signed off on the approximate total cost of the job, I get to work! I'll come to your space, take measurements and we'll chat to ensure that we're aligned on design preferences. From there, I'll put together design / mood boards with suggested paint colors, furniture pieces and/or accessories. If your project requires paint, junk removal or minor contractor work, I'll bring in trusted professionals to help and you'll pay them directly. I also do organizational services! I love to incorporate organization into my design projects to ensure that you can keep your space neat and tidy after we're finished. I'm also open to purely organizational services within your current design – note that my rate is less per hour for organizational jobs (we can discuss during the consultation!) I love to work on a custom scope with every customer to ensure that we're achieving your goals!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for interior design! After designing my first "grown-up" apartment, my friends and family started asking for help with their spaces. From there, it grew into a business.
