I was extremely impressed with how easy this whole process was. Within minutes of posting my junk-removal needs I had heard back from Junk Xpress and within a few hours they were at my house and cleaning out my pile of stuff. I had a great experience with Junk Xpress and their staff, I had an old hot tub that I needed removed and they were very quick to get rid of it. I was actually curious to see how they were going to be able to remove it so I stayed around myself to check it out, and I’d say about maybe a few minutes of planning they came up with a plan and executed it perfectly. Their pricings are amazing compared to other junk companies I’ve contacted suck as Junk King and 1800-Got-Junk, so I definitely recommend working with these guys. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When we get a new customer it starts with the call. We always make our customer feel welcomed at Junk Xpress. We ask key questions to identify what items they have and then explain our pricing and how we work. After that, we find out what days and time they are available for pickup. The last step is completing the job. We make sure to give a 30-45 minute call ahead and always show up on time. We confirm the estimate then start loading up our truck.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been doing this work for 5 years, so I have gained a lot of knowledge about this industry. From booking the job to actually doing the job I am confident in my ability to make sure it gets done in the most efficient way possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I got started doing junk hauling a few years back because the idea of it intrigued me. To this day I still love what I do. I go around getting to meet people and share stories while doing the job. I love the feeling I get when a customer thanks me for helping them with a situation they couldn’t handle. It gives me a sense of pride every time I leave a job.
