Wonderful experience working with Emily. Just getting my startup off the ground and she provided excellent guidance as I worked to define the values of my organization and make growth-related decisions based on the mission we crafted together. We had one visioning session and two deep dive work sessions. Emily created great summary packages after each session and sent notes capturing what we did in the sessions. My business is a for-benefit company involved in women's wellness. Costs ran about $3,000 total not including expenses. Took about two months. Totally worth it because now I feel like my business is super rooted in its values and set to grow in a sustainable way.

I'm starting a consultancy and Emily (EHM | Brand+) has helped me to build it from the ground up. We finished our Phase I work having to do with brand creation (one contract) and soon we will start Phase II which has to do with growing based on the core brand values (another contract). Emily is extremely professional and also manages to make me think hard and dig deep during our sessions together. Most of my exchanges are in-person but I had to travel for business for awhile and we emailed and did a session over the phone. Emily is also amazingly creative and fun to work with. I got what I paid for (a few grand over a few months and set for 3 more at about $800/month - different kind of work this time, not as involved). Emily works hard and I always felt like she went the extra mile to make sure I was getting what I wanted.

Emily is a joy to work with. Professionally and personally, she's insightful, intelligent and dedicated to helping others. I was looking to take my company in a different direction and she helped me to view the whole situation from a different perspective and taught me a variety of tools to solve organizational challenges. One thing that worked really well during our time together was our work sessions. They were really creative and fun. Somehow, she was able to draw out and present important information in a way that was quite enjoyable for me. When I first was thinking about whether or not I needed to hire someone to help my business move in a different direction, I was unsure. But after hearing Emily talk about why taking the time to build a strong foundation and changing my company's mission a bit was so important for success in the future, I decided to go for it. I know from experience with having my own company that branding based on core beliefs is key, and it's not something to cheap out on. I worked with Emily for 2 months and we did 4 sessions which was about $4k. My business is going to re-launch in February and I can't wait.

Our team worked with Emily from EHM | Brand+ over the course of two weeks for some facilitation help as we mapped out a new branch of our business. We paid $1,400 for a 2-hour session and two 1-hour sessions, and we spoke on the phone for an hour twice and exchanged a ton of emails (we were basically her main project for two weeks - she made the time for us since we were in a hurry, which was awesome). We opted not to do deliverables since we were in a time crunch, and they would have added to the cost. Even as a mission-driven small organization where we talk about our values day-to-day, we wanted assistance and an objective perspective to help us move forward. Emily created a very tailored approach to the work she did for us since our goal was to have some new frameworks to use to address challenges in different areas like marketing, operations and business development. Emily did a great job of keeping us on track and brought a calming presence to our meetings, even when we talked about complex issues we face as an organization. She's really good at communicating in a way that everyone can understand. We will hire her again if we decide we need more help!

When I first decided to work with a coach, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had an initial goal, which was to uncover my core values and use them to chart a path forward for my business. My only experience with coaching was through sports, so I set my expectations according to that dynamic – direction, skill building, tough love, and intensity. But after a few sessions with Emily, I realized that her form of coaching is more powerful than the kind where someone tells you what to do. Instead, every discovery, decision, and behavior change in this process has come from my own inner voice and deep knowing. When I arrived at each of my core values, it was thanks to Emily’s ability to listen, feel the energy, and make connections across themes that came up over a series of sessions. Her guided visualizations have helped me connect with my values in a way that I can feel them in my body and immediately sense when they are fully expressed or compromised. And just like magic, I have seen a shift in the way I show up with my clients, my friends, and my family that feels completely genuine, true, and easeful.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer a free initial 30-minute session to anyone who is interested in exploring coaching. $400/month (includes 4 sessions: 3 hour-long sessions, 1 30-minute session and unlimited emailing)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For coaching to be successful, there has to be chemistry! To figure that out, I offer a *FREE* discovery session, which offers us the chance to get to know each other a bit and assess a mutual fit. To set up a free session, you can schedule directly through my website or send me an email to find a time. Once we have our session, if we feel like the fit is good and you feel ready to dive in, I'll draw up a coaching agreement, you'll sign it, we'll set up a recurring time to meet (either over Zoom or in-person) and we'll begin our journey together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coach Federation and also hold a certificate in Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance from Philosophy IB at American University, a Master's Degree from the University of Pennsylvania (MCP) and Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University (BA, cum laude).
