I was insistent that whoever set up a pole in my home had experience. At home poles are typically pressure mounted, and we've all seen videos of what happens when they are not properly installed! I cannot emphasize how important it is to hire someone local, and one person, or a small outfit, versus some seemingly big company. My first attempt was to hire a company that had hundreds of jobs under their belt. They immediately answered all my messages within 1 minute, day or night, which should have been my first clue that this "big" company used virtual assistants overseas to schedule random people they don't really know. They assured me that the technician who was coming had installed poles before, and even sent me pictures. Instead, they sent someone who didn't know what he was doing, and literally scratched his head while poring over the instructions and making a lame attempt to match up the puzzle pieces. Walt, on the other hand, did a great job. He took his time, made several measurements, and tested the ceiling before installation. After 4 months of use, I can report the pole is as solid as the day he installed it. Don't mess around when it comes to getting a job done right. Walt is your local handyman, I highly recommend his services.

Walty and his colleague did a great job in hauling and installing a big french door refrigerator. They were quite resourceful in overcoming the various setbacks along the way - taking apart the fridge door, the house door and what not! Would definitely recommend!

There was a hole in my wall that needed to be repaired, and Walter was able to complete this project without any issues. His work quality was good, the price was very reasonable, and he's quick and responsive to inquiries. Something I really appreciated was him texting me saying he'd be slightly late to the agreed-upon appointment time; I have no issues with someone being late so long as it's properly communicated. I highly recommend Walter and would absolutely hire him again for future projects.
