Highly recommended as Elbert fixed my iPhone when Apple was unable to. And he came to our house. And wore a mask. Quick and professional and fairly priced. Highly recommended. My iPhone could not be charged and the battery was depleted. My phone was effectively a brick. I could not log into any service at Apple as I had signed up for 2 factor authentication. The authentication texts were being sent to my bricked phone. And I could not change the authentication number. I was able to chat with Apple but the places they gave to set up a repair, required logging onto the Apple support site with 2 factor authentication. I then searched for a local repair and came across Gelatotech. The reviews seemed good so I wrote what the problem was. I got a reply within 20 minutes, agreed the repair price which seemed reasonable and we set up a meeting at my house that evening. Elbert replaced my charging port and put in a new battery. When I tested the ability to charge using my portable charger, it did not charge. Elbert pointed out that the cord I was using was burnt out at the pins. I got two other cords which did show that the phone charged. Elbert sold me a replacement Apple cord. What a difference a day makes. It started with a bricked phone and my family recommending I buy another. By the end I had my phone back working. Now to work out what to do when 2 factor authentication is not possible. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We travel to our customer location and repair their device inside our car. After the repair is done, we test the new part infront of the customer. Once the test is done, you can pay with Venmo, Cash or any credit card.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have 4 years of electronics repair experience. Working with Apple, Samsung, Google devices.
