I saw Dessi after a week working on a film in San Fran that took a toll on my back. I'm a believer in massage therapy and have had some great massage work done. Her approach was the most unique and intuitive I've experienced and the best results I've ever had from a massage. Easily the best massage therapist I've been to. I can't wait to get back to San Fran for another appointment with her.

She was 150% there to work on issues I have misalignment etc, and she applied her great skills in sports/medical therapy. I experienced clear improvement after the first visit, and am now onto the 3rd visit.

Dessi is very professional and clearly very knowledgeable about sports and injury related massage therapy. Highly recommended.

I recently injured my neck and asked for Jon's help putting together a routine to help my recovery. Not only did he help with my pain, he asked for my current routine and was able to give modifications to each exercise so I could continue progressing in my strength training while accounting for my neck. He was also generous with tips and advice to help me progress in my strength routine once I've recovered. Another thing that I really appreciated was that he didn't push any sort of regular recurring meetings or package training deals. He just offered his help if I ever needed more advice in strength progressions later.

I came to Jon with a hip injury caused from a sports game. He was incredibly knowledgable and super nice throughout the process. He put me through a series of mobility tests to assess the cause of the injury and then went through different exercises to help strengthen and heal my hip. I would highly recommend him to anyone with any sort of injury as he was very helpful and clearly one of the best in the business.

Was looking for a physical therapist to provide some guidance after recently injuring my knee biking, and Jon was fantastic. Helpful guidance on how to improve lifting and running form, and a plan to ramp back up on my running program.

Rodrigo's approach to wellness goes beyond a simple diet and exercise program. Whether you’re looking to shed a few pounds or recovering from an injury his holistic method seeks to understand your lifestyle and find ways in which you can improve it. In my case I wanted to improve my strength and reduce my stress levels. Rodrigo incorporated many familiar body weight exercises into my training, with lots that I had no idea existed; all aimed at increasing my strength as well as improving my overall mobility and flexibility. He also incorporated breathing exercises that I could use at the end of my training or throughout my day, to help calm my mind and center myself when I felt stressed. Rodrigo is not your typical drill sergeant or muscle bro with little interest in your health beyond your fitness, working with him is like working with a friend who wants to help you improve in all aspects of your health.

Carlos T.

Verified review

I worked with Rodrigo learning various different training methods; routines, exercises, as well as technics for my body shape and how to keep my breathing and oxygen on point. Training with him for a while helped me take my endurance and performance while exercising to a whole new level. He can coach people who need help starting to get their health better or he can help athletes on professional levels.

If you want to improve your health this is a must. His knowledge ranges from a variety of martial arts to gymnastics, making things really interesting. I can tell you that this is one of the best experiences of my life, because his training is just as fun as playing with your best friends, and the best is that you are getting in shape.

Working with Ben the last five months has fundamentally changed my fitness. I was coming off a long term injury five months ago, and after working with Ben I've almost doubled the amount of weight I can do in my Olympic lifts. Tomorrow I'm hoping to for a combined 900lbs on my Bench, Squat and Deadlift which is honestly a number I never though I would achieve. My cardio shape is great, and I'm probably in some of the best shape I've ever been in. I'm ex-lacrosse, not soccer (which Ben specializes in). I hear from his other clients that his soccer conditioning has prepared them for playing in European leagues, and that his focus on speed work is a great differentiation from other training programs. If you are looking for general athletic training, power lifting, or specific soccer conditioning, Ben is your man. I've never been so satisfied with a training experience.

Ben has been a really great trainer for my 17 year-old son. He's very technically knowledgeable and motivating and has been a major factor in my son's rehab from a bad leg break and surgery. He was training with Ben for strength & fitness for soccer before he broke his leg, and kept working with him starting just weeks after surgery, working in tandem with, then replacing his physical therapy. He's versatile and trains in the gym and on the field as needed. My son is back playing varsity basketball and will start soccer soon -- fitter and stronger because of all his work with Ben!

I had the fortune of meeting Joe three years ago and at the time I had some high expectations for my overall fitness growth. Joe ended up becoming my one stop shop due to his immense knowledge in wellness and fitness. Some areas I have used Joe's expertise - Strength, flexibility, nutrition and therapy. Joe incorporates all these elements into his teaching and he makes it pretty simple. For my personal growth I have used his guidance with gymnastic style body weight and Kettlebells. What I truly appreciate the most is attention to form and injury prevention. Of course, along the way I have had my share of injurys and have sought Joe for therapy and acupuncture!! I have never done acupuncture before and Joe has made me a believer. I'm grateful for his guidance and as I head into my 40's I can say I'm stronger and healthier overall than ever before in my life.

Joe has helped me with numerous running injuries as well as instructing a kettle bell class that I take. On both counts, Joe is superb. He's keeps me healthy, encourages actions that prevent injuries, improved my fitness level, and most importantly, engages me with a level of care you rarely see from medical professionals. I highly recommend his services without reservation!

I have worked with Joe numerous times to get through sports- related injuries that allowed me to recover much quicker than I otherwise would have without specialized treatment. I'm not a professional athlete. I'm a weekend warrior. But, Joe made me feel like I was a professional athlete, and therein lies the magic.

REVIEW OF BILL YANOWSKY Bill Yanowsky is an excellent personal trainer. He has been my personal trainer for the past three years on a weekly basis at the Santa Clara Valley Jewish Community Center. I am a senior adult (67 years old) in good health. As a teacher myself, I set very high standards. I have found that Bill consistently excels on all measures of professionalism and competence. Of the half dozen trainers with whom I have worked over the years, Bill is clearly the best. Bill has many commendable qualities. First, he has excellent communication skills. His instructions about how to perform the various exercises are always detailed, precise, and clear. He carefully monitors the way that I follow his instructions. If I fail to perform a particular exercise correctly, he explains what I am doing wrong and how I should modify my movements (e.g., suggesting that I adjust the distance between my hands and/or feet or bend further in a given direction). He then asks me to confirm whether I can tell the difference in my posture before and after–- thereby helping me to learn how to perform the exercises correctly so that I can repeat them on my own. Bill always ensures that I do the various exercises correctly and safely in ways that maximize my results and prevent injuries. Second, Bill is an excellent listener. As an older adult, I have certain physical limitations (arthritis, tendonitis, ankle/heel pain). When we first started working together, Bill asked me about my physical limitations. Although many trainers perform this initial evaluation, Bill is unique in his ability to remember my physical limitations and consistently give me exercises that accommodate these limitations. Better yet, however, he suggests exercises that actually relieve the symptoms of these medical conditions. Moreover, at the beginning of a session, he frequently inquires how I’m feeling. Then, he adjusts the pace and rigor of our sessions accordingly. In addition, he has a good grasp of my personal situation – my stress and lifestyle – and understands how my fitness goals are affected by my personal situation. Third, Bill is extremely knowledgeable about health and fitness. He has impressive credentials as a physical therapist and personal trainer. He has made many helpful suggestions that have improved my physical well-being, including advice about diet, weight loss, sleep, proper athletic shoes, and overall physical functioning. In addition, Bill sets realistic and achievable fitness goals in accordance with my physical needs and limitations. Finally, on a personal level, Bill has an engaging demeanor. Based on my observations of his work at the gym, he works well with a broad range of people – from teenagers to older adults like me. He is dependable and conscientious. He is always on time and never misses sessions. If the need to reschedule arises, he confirms via email. He has a delightful, dry sense of humor that makes our sessions enjoyable. He always manages to keep me engaged and motivated – a daunting task at 6 o’clock in the morning! In sum, I give him my highest recommendation. Kelly Weisberg Professor of Law

I have been working with Bill for just about two years and my fitness has improved significantly in that time. I initially signed up for general fitness training, but was excited to learn that Bill has professional hockey training experience. I had taken a five year hiatus from the sport and wanted to start playing again but was concerned about injuries at my now more advanced age. Bill was able to select targeted exercises to bring me back to playing shape and have fun in the process. Thanks Bill!

After a year of PT for a knee injury I was still not getting better or able to train for an upcoming 1/2 marathon. After just eight weeks with Bill I was ready to train full time.

what a great experience, I requested Eric,Eric for a one hour massage..I've had many massages which usually have me cringing because the pressure is too hard & the person doing it isn't attentive at all. This time, it was the complete opposite! Eric did my Swedish massage & it was by far the BEST massage I've ever had.

Dr. Morello is the best chiropractor I have ever had, hands down! He is very knowledgeable, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. He doesn't rush, he charges very affordable rates and I have fun every time I go. I love that he deals patiently with me and with all my insurance crap without complaint and always has good stories to tell. He's down to earth, but has a very holistic mentality, which is important to me. I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone who is looking to feel better.
