- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my career working in private industry and moved to CPA firms, where I spent over 20 years helping businesses with everything from bookkeeping cleanups to controller-level financial reporting. What I saw over and over was that smaller companies needed strong financial insight to grow but often couldn’t justify hiring a full-time controller or accounting team. That’s what inspired me to launch Green Accounting Consulting—to bring big-firm expertise and strategic financial support to small businesses in a way that’s affordable and easy to work with.
