I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business. The owner Eli (Elad Amiel) is a smooth talker and has a bait and a switch strategy to secure business and then giving you a sub-par product. Big promises left unfulfilled in the end. Overly concerned about getting paid early so he can leave you hanging without completing your project. We hired him to install a metal door for my yard. We really wanted a unique design and agreed to pay him almost $10K for this door. I called a couple of different companies for a quote. Eli from ASAP Gates and Remodeling made big promises with his sales pitch. He made big bones about the quality of the material, the superiority of his powder coating process which will not rust and their craftsmanship. We identified an image of what we wanted and sent him that image. It was a half metal and half wood design. The wood part was supposed to have a large medallion and the metal grills were to have gold colored metal vine like embellishments. He reverted back saying he can replicate the design to the T. Based on his assurance we gave him the business. The first red flag was that at installation time that he didn’t have any of the details we had explicitly asked for. He simply said that “oh those details are not available easily anymore but i have someone who is on it” He would not reduce a dime for the incomplete design. Once our medallion was delivered, he quoted another $1K on top of the $10K to add the backing for this. Since he was nowhere close to getting the extra embellishments, we said we will forgo the embellishments if he can at least put just the medallion. He wanted the full money even after giving us a basic design and we lost the opportunity to have the beautiful design we wanted by hiring someone else. At the time of installation he didn’t put a second coat of paint (Which was needed) for the wooden part of the door and told me he will come back later for it. 6+ months into the installation he never showed up for the final finishes despite contacting him multiple times. What’s worse is that the poor craftsmanship in the work is already beginning to show. There is already rust on many many places on the door already and the paint job on the metal grill is shoddy and worn off near the closure. The wood is giving a bleeding appearance. Eli has stopped responding to my texts or taking my phone calls. Because of his deception we are now left with a door for which we paid more than what it is worth plus a poor quality product. His Business model is to merely be a salesperson and line up the cheapest labor he can find and make money off of fooling people. He has not acted in good faith and has zero knowhow of his business. Do yourself a favor and not hire him!
