Introduction: We're three veteran musicians who came off the road to put down roots in San Mateo County. After years of playing genres from rock to country, delta blues to jazz, funk to classical, we became The Mighty Thundertones to pay tribute to the peak of the British Blues Rock era. It's the music we love, and the music that inspired us in our youth to become professional musicians.
We cover songs from bands including Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Free, Bad Company, Deep Purple, Foreigner, The Rolling Stones, Savoy Brown, Jeff Beck, Beck, Bogert & Appice, The Firm, Robin Trower, Cream, Blind Faith, and early Fleetwood Mac.
Our sound is comprised of late 60's and 70's blues rock classics, modernized with current production techniques and original arrangements, i.e. Blues Rock re-imagined.
Our computerized digital live rig scales to any size venue by utilizing a silent stage for volume control, and incorporates automated stage lighting and mixing.

Full disclosure. I'm the wife of a band member. But as a musician myself, I'm amazed at how three guys can make such a big sound! Also, the level of their technique, and the tech they use to make it all happen, and the dedication I've seen as they pulled this band together... pretty impressive
