I am a beginner and didn't know much about playing Guitar and Music theory. She is a great teacher, she always has a way to make me understand the critical aspects. Within no time Judy has brought me to a level where I could read music and play basic chords and make transitions. Playing guitar is a combination of the lessons you get from your guitar teacher and practicing a lot, judy has been really good in making me focus on the right aspects of guitar playing. So far everything has been great. Looking forward to more great lessons.Sep 4, 2017Verified
My 11 year old son and now my 8 year old son have been taking guitar lessons with Judy, and really enjoy them. Judy is patient, flexible and fun. Highly recommended.Feb 4, 2016
My 10-year old son has been taking guitar lessons with Groovy Judy for over 2 years now. Over that time, he has learned to play quite well, but most importantly, he loves his lesson time with Groovy Judy! She relates really well with children and makes the lessons lots of fun! We are so happy to have found her as a guitar teacher!Feb 4, 2016Groovy Judy's reply
Thanks Angelka! I love you guys too! :-)
Judy is a wonderful teacher with lot of patience and great guitar skills. She takes time to go through the minute details to make one understand. Her ever enthusiastic and positive attitude made me confident in the learning process. We also became good friends which helped in free exchange of ideas/feedback. I learnt guitar from basics and many western & eastern songs, eventually! I have never seen Judy in a bad mood :) Judy rocks!!!!Feb 16, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing is competitive for the market place. I offer a discount on a package of 12 or more lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? For guitar lessons, the process is we choose a day and time that works for both of us and we set up the first lesson. If you’re a beginner, I’ll teach you the string names, how to tune and get you going on easy songs. I tailor the lessons to what styles and songs you want to learn. If you’d like to learn how to read music, I can help you with that too. For hiring me Groovy Judy as an entertainer, we negotiate the date, time, location and rate. The we fill out a simple agreement confirming the details.
