I ended up going with another contractor because I had additional work other than concrete on my project. However, Felix was quick to respond to my project request on Thumbtack, and able to meet the same day. He reviewed the requirements and the lot, asked a few questions, and described how the work would be performed very clearly. The estimate was well written, and the pricing was very competitive. I will keep RF in mind for any future concrete projects.

We loved every aspect of working with Felix on our project: coordination with our architect, town inspectors, and wood floor installer; his structural work, plumbing, and stairs; and finish plaster and paint. Felix has a General A and B license, so when the town required us to rebuild our stairs—which required moving an interior structural beam—we really needed him. We lived in the house most of the time during the construction, thanks to his excellent dust partitioning and neatness. He was flexible in crafting the trims, curved ceilings, and other details to match the rest of our house. In retrospect, his bid was exceptionally reasonable because he knows what he is doing. We gave him a big bonus. It can be quite stressful when your project gets complicated, but all is well—and truly a pleasure--to be in the hands of such a nice, competent contractor 😊

Felix and RF Construction are one of the best contractors ever. Felix is super smart, very practical, and knows what he’s doing. We had to do foundation work, pour a new driveway and a concrete floor for our garage. Felix did an outstanding job navigating everything with us, including inspections. The price was also extremely fair.
