About this pro
I wish I had something good to say. Toddler had no idea of where to take any photographs, we had to direct him on where to take them. Todd also said I would have my photos in 7 days after the shoot, it has now been 19 days and no contact or photos. Very poor all around, just glad I got a few photos with my cell phone. I would look else where for a photographer.Jun 8, 2016VerifiedTodd D.'s reply
I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with your experience. It is my goal to delight my customers with an excellent experience and excellent photos. I'm not sure why there was a disconnect regarding the delivery time, however I did my best to process the photos in a timely manner. My shot locations were intended to reduce uneven and harsh lighting, crowded shots and unflattering angles. Your photos were delivered today. Thank you for your feedback, I will use it to improve my service in the future.
Very professional and made me feel comfortable during the photo shoot. Also quick and flexible on short notice.Jun 7, 2015Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Actually, my pricing is simple as can be. I charge a fee for my time and expenses during the shoot itself. This fee will vary based on the type of shoot, the location, the number of people, and any other complexities (props, pets) but I always state the fee up-front. Digitals are usually included in the fee. Prints cost me money to produce, so I charge extra for prints. This cost varies greatly depending on size, quality, and finish options. Obviously a 5x7 paper print is considerably less than a wall sized hanging printed on glass. I use amazing, professional labs for my prints, and the prices are competitive with what you'd see online at ShutterFly or SnapFish for example.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I attend the university of YouTube. Seriously, yes, not a day goes by that I am not actively learning and practicing. I belong to several photography groups, both online and in "real life". I read countless books and articles, and watch demonstration videos. And I practice, practice, practice.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?My daughter is very into theater, and I started to follow her to rehearsals and take photos of all the kids, and share them with parents. Parents loved it, and before I knew it I was getting requests for private portraits and photo shoots with the kids. I realized that I really love working with people, and I love how people react to their photos. Work is easy when you love what you do.
