Elizabeth is something special! She’s a rare combination of sincerity, curiosity, creativity, and playfulness. The shoot flew by because she was interacting with me in such a thoughtful tune-in way. She seems to inherently know how to draw out the essence within her subject. Choose Elizabeth if you want things to go smoothly and if you want someone to follow through and actually do what they say they’re going to do.

After spending at least one week comparing and researching professional family photographers and comparing samples from previous photographers I’ve hired in the past, I decided on Elizabeth from Blushpix. Over the phone, we began by discussing what I was looking for out of this. Elizabeth was very patient with me as I struggled to figure out what I really wanted. She suggested options, including beach locations, natural / lush settings, etc. It didn’t take long before I realized that I had no idea what I really wanted and instead I deferred to Elizabeth. I’m so glad I did because she chose a beautiful setting in Orange County. It was spacious, easy to get to, had a lovely lake setting, multicolored trees and brush for fall colors… everything I had hoped for! Once we got started, I immediately knew that Elizabeth was truly in her element. She took her time, which made my two children instantly comfortable working with her. The kids have never really cared about their experiences with previous photo shoots (or the person taking the pictures in the past.) FYI, they are ages 13 and 16 years old. But... from the moment we pulled up and became introduced to Elizabeth, we knew this was going to be different from past experiences. Elizabeth was bursting with energy, had a radiant smile and was filled with enthusiasm. She really got us in the mode to get some great pics.. and we did! it wasn’t long before the kids were having a great time. Both of my kids completely came out of their shells and started having a great time. There were so many great photo opportunities and Elizabeth knew exactly how to capture them! My daughter later told me that Elizabeth is most definitely the best, most interactive, fun and talented photographer we have ever worked with. She went onto say that we should choose Elizabeth again next time too! Once the session concluded, we all felt that Elizabeth truly invested herself and her energy into making it great for our family. I am very pleased with the outcome and would wholeheartedly endorse her for any other professional projects in the future. Bottom line… If you want the best you need Elizabeth at Blushpix!

I hired Elizabeth for my website and branding photos, and she was phenomenal. She came in with creative ideas, the best energy, and an eye for detail—fixing hair, makeup, and wardrobe so every shot looked intentional and on-brand. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I love Thumbtacks system because each quote is priced with your needs in mind! It lets us understand your details for the project so we can quote accordingly. The base price that's sent to you had NO hidden fees, and no add-ons. (Unless you need prints after the shoot has wrapped) Unlike most photographers that may charge by photo count, I send you ALL the photos as well as 15 edits which are always included in every package!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know you is most important! I'll ask questions about what locations fit your traveling radius because I always offer to scope out places for you. We decide on the style that you envision for the shoot and try to match it and make it a reality!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took an apprenticeship for teaching photoshop back in the days of Adobe Photoshop I obtain many certifications in my field and constantly study the techniques for the Photo and Media industry to keep sharp and current with my skills.
