I am a true career photographer, not someone who expects the camera to do the work. My body of published images and over 2,000 private clients speaks to my dedication, natural ability, and professionalism. TIME Magazine award, magazine, book and album covers, two Olympic Games. Working with the person in front of me is the best! People are interesting, it's up to me, the photographer, to bring out their uniqueness in a photo. I shoot color, black and white, photojournalist, or naturally posed, as needed. Very versatile, and promise to make you feel comfortable.

I flew from the other end of the USA to spent a wonderful week with Christie because I had known her Hollywood work. Together, we shot both male and female models in many different situations, including head shots for aspiring actors. We shot "street type shots" in public places like the great market in Seattle, and a wedding too. We even set up an installation of her photographs in a pubic space, which was extremely helpful when I came home and set up my own. This was a unique and fantastic experience. I think about that week with Christie, and use what I learned every time I pick up a camera. I shoot both film and digital, and although we only shot film together, all the training translates well to digital. This was an opportunity of a lifetime for me. It was not like the usual "flat" photo course, it was a "working week" with one of the last great photographers who relies on proper photography, not photoshop touch-ups. "Get it right the first time".

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is of course as per what the photo client needs. 30 minutes or ten hours! We will discuss!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk on the phone, get a real feel for their needs and timing. Of course we can meet prior, but not necessary for me - Hollywood managers would simply send me to the actor's home for the photo session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My first photo was published when I was five years old. I've been hired for over 40 years now.
