I'm a full-time photographer based in Santa Clara. I specialize in personal branding photography, especially headshots images for individuals and corporate clients. I provide service in my Santa Clara studio, and I can also do on location sessions as well. Robert has an amazing eye for people. His portraits capture the personalities of his subjects in a way that is beautiful without feeling artificial or overly-flattering. My business partner and I came to him for professional headshots to use in our company materials. Robert captured the right mood for that and we came away with exactly what we needed. He also took some photos that are so powerful and so true to us---but also so revealing---that we are keeping those for our own personal use with our families. I've never had professional photos that were as good as these. I am not easy to photograph, and my colleague is even harder, so that is no small feat! With Robert, you don't have to be photogenic to get good results.

We had picture done for the whole family (5 people); individual pictures and together. Our family loves the pictures Robert made because they capture who we truly are. Robert privileges spontaneity and does magic with light to enhance it. The shooting was a fun experience as well as ideas were welcome and we tried many options.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important for a portrait session to be as relaxed as possible, so my preference is to meet a new client before the session. either on the phone or even in person over coffee. The aim is to build some familiarity, and also get a better understanding of their needs and expectations for the photo session.
