Roland from Furniture Beach has worked for us for the last 5 years, heâs very professional, detailed oriented, fast and efficient. Roland is our go to guy will any project we have.
Roland has performed the following task and we have been very happy with all of his work.
Power washed house, prepared the house and repaired leaking windows before painting
Painted entire outside of house, inside bedrooms
Power washed fences and concrete patio
Removed interior wall to enlarge the living room
Removed unwanted cabinet in kitchen
Installed bamboo flooring through house (beautiful), replaced some of the sub floor
Repair damaged deck stairs, gate and fence
Installed screen door, replaced screen on sliding door
Replace light fixtures, repair fluorescent light fixture
Installed bi-fold closet doors
Removed a tree
Re-stuffed a recliner, repaired the reclining mechanism

scott is very reliable. He called to confirm then called to reconfirm. He was on time. Did exactly what was needed and agreed to and did do in a very timely manner. He knows his sheet (sp). Also he has his own tools a small SUV to hes equipped. withing 2 minutes of him doing the furniture assembly it was obvious he knows what he is doing. Finally his bid was fully 1/3 of how much Cost Plus World Market charges to do exactly the same job..He picked up the 5 boxes of unassembled wood furniture and he hauled it my home, on the third floor, and assembled every thing in about an hour:.. 5 large pieces . of solid wood furniture ( desk, coffee table, end tables , computer side table ( i love that piece)
total cost was $95 big ( gave him$120 cause he deserved the tip) .. Cost Plus wanted over $300 ++ to do exactly the same. Also his is not Scott, thats his partner's name, his name is Roland . He can also do upholstery of all kinds, and claims to know all aspects of the trades. i believe it.

Roland has been absolutely outstanding! He did an amazing job refinishing the banisters for our stairs and all the oak cabinetry and drawers in our kitchen. But that was just the start! Roland is very talented and proceeded to help us out with a number of other projects to improve and update our home before we put it out on the market. He also refinished an antique standup piano (built in 1904) to practically new showroom condition for a very reasonable price - we had almost given the piano away for free! Now it will stay in our family for many, many generations. Roland also helped to restore our master bathroom to virtually new - he cleaned and regrouted all the tile - the original estimate to tear down the shower and rebuild it from scratch was more than $16,000 - so Roland helped save us a huge amount of money - now our master bathroom looks like it was remodeled (we put in new bathroom fixtures and lighting) without the huge cost - all thanks to Roland! He also fixed some broken closet shelves - and rebuilt them the correct way. Finding Roland turned out to be one of our greatest advantages - he was also very punctual and dependable - and totally honest. He's also just a really, really nice guy! You cannot go wrong hiring Roland to help you out on your home projects - large or small. Roland also let us know he is now getting into restoring the upholstery on any kind of furniture - something we did not take advantage of - but if we had needed something like that, we would have hired him in a second!

We worked with Roland Powell to design two custom shelves in our home. One mounts to the wall as a simple computer desk and the other is a corner shelf. Roland was very professional, punctual, and always gave fantastic recommendations for everything from design details to stains to mounts. He delivered the shelving and also offered to install it for no additional cost. Roland also followed up and let us know if we need any changes, all we need to do is call him and he'll make adjustments. Pretty fantastic guy to work with, we highly recommend this business!
