FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a Menu of Services that I send to clients who enquire about the possibility of working together. Basically I charge between $325 and $600 per month, depending on the frequency and length of our sessions as well as the financial means of the client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A potential client usually starts by taking a look at my website to learn more about me, my services, and to read testimonials to see if there is a resonance between the work I do and what they're wanting. Once they initiate contact with me, I will send them a questionnaire to support them to clarify what they hope to get from working with a coach. After they fill this out and get this back to me, we typically have an exploratory session. This is a chance for me to talk a bit about the work I do, to go over some of what they wrote in the questionnaire, and to get their questions answered. At the end of this conversation we usually know if we think we are a good fit to work together, and we either agree to work together or get complete.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since my young adulthood I have had a keen interest in self-actualization and personal growth. I spent 15 years as a participant and ultimately a leader with the California Men's Gathering. The mentorship I received there, and the process of going from a young participant to a Community Gathering Leader, where I would design and lead up to 200 men through exploratory activities with the intent of fostering connection, healing, and growth was key to my development as a facilitator and leader. In 2002 I competed my training at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in Ontological Life and Business Coaching and have since returned to teach there as an expert in my field. The experiences I gained through facilitating Restorative Circles from 2007 to 2014 was also invaluable to me. I learned so much about conflict, about how as individuals we get ourselves stuck in our stories and in the energy of opposition, and most importantly, I learned how deep listening and connection can transform conflict into mutual understanding, shared responsibility, and healing. As a teacher and improvisor with Um...Gee...Um for 19 years, I have learned the power of letting go of control and saying YES to the creative possibilities that can only arise when I get out of the way and allow the co-creative process to unfold. As a co-facilitator of Momentum, a year-long creativity program, I have gotten even more valuable experience in holding space to nurture the creative impulses of others.
