Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Lots of people feel uncomfortable when it comes to math (from genuine dislike to math anxiety), and I try to make it as approachable and understandable as possible. I also help students understand the importance of what they are learning. I really enjoy working with math, and showing others the beauty behind it. Genuinely being able to help somebody with something that they are struggling with is one of my favorite things to do.

Dan helped me out with systems of differential equations. Despite that it was difficult material he was able to help me get a better grip by showing me where I was making the wrong assumptions which were affecting my results rather than just describing a process over and over again.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

My most common type of job is assisting middle or high school students with their math classes. This can range from help with homework to re-teaching a topic and even teaching a topic for the first time. I also help students review for tests and/or quizzes that are coming up.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a math tutor for you or your child, it is important to find somebody who has a passion for and a background in math, but this is not the only thing. It is also very important to find somebody who the student would LIKE and get along with.
