- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The photo session charge is for my time and equipment. Two-hour session fees start at $150 for 1-4 people in the same frames/location, $300 for 5 or more people. For more than 2 hours, request a quote. For weddings, see my website for several different package prices. Seasonal and special circumstance discounts are available. Prints, albums, etc., are additional especially because everyone's tastes varies so much.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Through Thumbtack, I will send you a quote that matches my website prices with a possible discount. Once you select me, we will connect via email and phone, maybe even in person, and set up your session time and location followed by a signed contract. I may scout out the location in advance if it is new to me to make sure that i know the best lighting choices and where the sun will be at the same time as your event. After your photo session or event, it may take me 2-4 weeks to process your images/video. When I am done I will notify you by email that your proofs are ready for your viewing.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to the latest and greatest pro magazines and attend the number one conferences/training centers in the U.S. I keep up with the latest technology too.
