Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I am uniquely qualified as a musician and I attempt to pass on to my students as much as I can about music, but also teach them skills they can apply to life in general. Dedication, focus, and problem-solving are all necessary for playing the piano and translate to other pursuits as well. Students who study music perform better in other subjects in school and music lessons help with developing memory, spatial tasks, vocabulary and math skills.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Music lessons are an investment -- and it requires not only a financial investment (instruments, books, teachers, other materials) but, more importantly, an investment of time and work on the student's part.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I still practice 3-6 hours every day, as I have for the past eight years of my life. There's a principle called the 10,000 hour rule; essentially, the theory is that it takes ten thousand hours of work at anything to become an expert. Music lessons aren't something you can cram for the day before; playing the piano requires constant maintenance and effort.
