Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My focus is on quality. I take the upmost pride in my work, and feel every one of my clients should have the same experience. I never cut corners, even when it’s expensive. Some of my competitors might be cheaper, but I will take the time to make sure my clients are 100% satisfied. I like to consider what I design and build as legacy pieces, and that when my clients hire me, that’s what they are getting.

Gardner is an amazing craftsman. I can not speak highly enough about him. I am a builder and hire lots of staff. He did multiple projects for me on a high end build, from cabinetry to metal siding to bathroom repairs. He is a true professional and very skilled at what he does. He was communicative, on-time and fair on pricing. Hire Gardner and you will feel happy you did. Five stars from me.

We had to replace our built-in barbecue grill, and of course could never find one exactly the same dimensions, so we needed to enlarge our cut-out. It required cutting through tile, stucco, and wood, and building a new support. It also involved changing the trim of the door below. Gardner was really attentive to all the little details that made it look perfect and like it had always been that way. We kept putting off this job because it seemed like it was going to be a huge headache, but Gardner made it very easy!

They can be clear about area he services. He is listed as serving Napaarea when I invited him to look at job to take over. Our interaction morfed into me paying him "$115-$150" for consultation for him to come out and look at job. Very Insulting. I work for major developer been in trades for 20+ years never paid contractor to come do site walk for work he would get paid for.

Details: Yes, the structure has already been built • Shed or standalone • Already have plans - just need installation • No, this is a new structure • No, I do not need plumbing or electrical lines installed • No, I do not need drywall applied • Home

Gardner F. Goetze General Contractor's reply
Hi there Darrell. Just coming across this now. I’m very sorry you felt I was misrepresenting myself here. I must say I am surprised by this negative review. My profile does include these policies, for certain cases. It’s described in the FAQ’s. I’m surprised as I thought our emails were perfectly polite and clear. Nothing seemed to trigger misleading information. We never entered contract, we simply were in the email phase, talking about the work, from what I can see in our emails, no? It was my assessment that for me too come out to this particular job and review it as per my company standards, this will come with a consultation fee, as it would be a big job that would require a high standard of assessment, and a good amount of time in order to gauge an accurate scope of work. There is no hidden agenda or me trying to somehow get money out of anyone. I was just being communicative about our policy before we got started with a job like this. No client ever has to accept. It has to be a nice and clean agreement on both sides, of course. Yes, I do serve the Napa area, and still have it here on my profile. That surely doesn’t automatically mean that my consulting time is free time in all cases. You may be used to a different type of contractor I do suppose? I do describe that there in the FAQ’s. I’m sorry again your group felt I have misrepresented myself here on this platform, and I hope you guys have found a great contractor to fill your needs. You all seem to build lovely dwellings. Best, Gardner
