Michael is a very patient and helpful teacher. After only 4 lessons I feel comfortable playing music. He is a great teacher for beginners because he has wonderfully easy methods to follow and take home with you to review. Just follow his recommendations and if you practice you will learn I am proof of that.

Michael was knowledgeable and kind. Coming in with some ukulele experience already but no music theory, he clearly and thoughtfully explained to me what so many friends had tried to years before. He's such a great music teacher. In these past years that I have known Michael I feel like he has taught me a lot about how to play guitar. You learn so much from him and he can get you any song you want to play.

Michael is a great music teacher and my kids just love him. My son and daughter take guitar lessons and my granddaughter piano lessons. He is very patient with them. He is encouraging and connects with them on a personal level. He gives them good advice about where to get the best equipment. He will often spend time with them restringing their guitars before a practice.He pulled parts from two old guitars we had and made a guitar for my son. When my son was ready to move up to a better guitar, he found us a great deal on a stratocaster. We have been with Michael for five years and would not think of going to another music teacher.

I love all aspects of music, and I take great joy in sharing my knowledge and experience with others who have a similar passion for music.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
In addition to teaching music and performance I have an instrument rental/purchase option program where all rental payments can be applied to the instrument purchase. I also help with any refurbishing, purchasing and maintaining of a students instrument.
