- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend at least one training a month also I am associated with a various professional organization that I am required to have 40 hours professional training yearly.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The last two jobs were within the past month; I received a call from Toronto Ontario from a family that has a daughter addicted to Alcohol &Cocaine. The family flew me from San Francisco to Toronto, I facilitated a family intervention the next day, the daughter was willing to go to treatment. I set up a treatment program called the Orchards, Bowen Island, BC, Canada. I escorted the client from Toronto to Vancouver that same day. The total time of this service was 36 hours. It turned out to be very successful. I facilitated an intervention in Santa Barbara California two weeks ago. I worked with the family for 10 days prior to the intervention by coaching 8 family members to prepare them for a family intervention with a goal to take and refer a 24 year male that was addicted to opiates. The intervention was successful, I escorted the client to a program in Long Beach California. I continue to coach the family by talking with them weekly.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to call me , if the family has a loved one that is addicted, the addicted is not going to go away until the person is treated. If the family is not ready for an intervention or cannot afford an intervention, I also facilitate family coaching.
