- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I prefer to learn about the issue first and then can give you a price. Hourly rates are giving way to fixed fees/value pricing. Know how much you are going to pay up front and determine if that's worth it to you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk over the phone and even do a a Zoom session if that's helpful. Often times people want to show me the issue and I can solve it in minutes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
California CPA Business Degree with Accounting focus 20+ years of work experience Used to prepare tax returns, but didn't enjoy it, so I stopped to focus on what I do like to do. However, having a tax background is very helpful. Used to be a math tutor back in college - love to teach - very patient
