I'm Katie, a Private Chef with a Nutrition, Yoga, and Retreat background. I have been working in this field for over 10 years. As a trained Natural Chef I focus on using whole, seasonal and local ingredients for a delicious and energizing approach to eating and delighting the senses . We have an abundance of produce in California. It's a joy to be able to cook with this kind of access to seasonal ingredients.
I tend towards Mediterranean and California-inspired cuisine, though I'm also influenced by dynamic world flavors, especially those of Asia and India.
I shop from local markets, small business and farms when I can.
I work with clients who desire to feel energized by the food they consume, not weighed down or heavy. My clients want to feel deeply nourished, supporting their mental and physical wellbeing through nutrition. My clients celebrate the fact that I care about what is going into each dish. I shop locally and purchase organic ingredients, avoid vegetable or rancid oils, and use real sea salt.
