Hi there! My name's Katie, and I am the owner/operator of Sonoma County Playful Pets. Playful Pets services parts of Sonoma County including: Sebastopol, Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Petaluma, and Windsor.
I offer daily dog walks between the hours of 9am-4pm, playtime at the park, and home visits for both pups & kitties while you are away at work or on vacation. I take on many long term clients, so if you are needing your dog walked multiple days a week, every week I'm your girl! You will receive friendly and personable service, and I will play with and lavish attention on your pets while always taking care of your fur babies as if they were my own!

I knew when I met Katie that I would be able to trust her, not only with my dog Rupert but with my home. I was gone for a week at Christmas, and she sent me pictures and messages letting me know how she and Rupert were doing. It allowed me to enjoy my time away with family, knowing that my “four legged” family was being loved and cared for. My dog is older and could not travel with me, and had not been left with a stranger before. Katie took the time for a meet & greet ahead of time and took notes on Rupert’s routine and health. Katie is great. Very attentive, reliable and helpful. She comforted my 2 kitty cats while I was away last Summer for 10 days. They were well cared for and the transition back home to them was as if I never left. I hired Katie to visit my dog and cat twice daily while I was away on vacation. During her visits Katie walked my dog, fed both pets, cleaned out the cat’s litter box, spent time playing with/petting/cuddling the animals. I felt fully comfortable leaving my animals in her care. She texted me regular updates with pictures of her spending time with my pets, and I could tell that my animals warmed to her quickly. My dog in particular is usually very slow-to-warm with new people, but Katie had the magic touch, both with her and with my cat. Katie is reliable, warm and friendly, and very professional. Katie has pet sat for our two dogs and cat many times while my husband and I have gone on vacation. I'm always anxious to leave my dog because she has seizures on a regular basis and always needs her medication at a specific time, both in the morning and at night and Katie always made a point of arriving on time to feed her and give her medication.
