FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend several conferences, seminars, or workshops every year. I read industry related journals and articles a minimum of an hour per day everyday because I believe that 365 hours of reading a year, WILL take you from the best kept secret in your field, to a bona fide expert.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was very skinny, frail, and un-athletic as a child. I didn't engage in sports at all because I was so embarrassed by my lack of any talent, strength, or aptitude. I dabbled with running, dance, and aerobic classes in the 80's and then one day, I picked up a dumbbell and my life was changed-literally forever. My confidence soared and it transformed my life. The physical strength I developed transformed my emotions, my character, and my psyche. After experiencing how this changed my life, I was sure other people would want to feel the same way and I believed I could help them achieve the same benefits.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weight loss is always the most popular but I've had many clients hire me for a variety of goals such as parents who hired me to bring physical fitness as a way of life into their families, women who, diagnosed with osteoporosis, were told by their doctors that they HAD to weight train, doctors have referred clients to me because they wanted my help in lowering their patient's blood pressure or because they're Diabetic, actors who had to look a certain way for a film, musicians who needed to develop stamina for live performance, and more.
