ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER
I grew up in upstate New York, but I've been living in the Lake Tahoe Basin for well over a decade. The Sierra Nevada mountains have felt like home since I first completed the long drive across the country.
I currently live with my girlfriend and two huskies just outside of South Lake Tahoe, CA. After building my freelance photography/videography business for a number of years while working in an unrelated field, I feel fortunate to now be in a position that I can make a full-time living with my camera.
WEDDINGS
One of my clients described me as, "calm and unobtrusive, yet determined to get the shot." I think that is accurate.
I am deeply passionate about photography and capturing the most meaningful and authentic moments of your wedding or event.
I specialize in a photojournalistic approach, documenting your day as it unfolds. As a seasoned photographer with a wide range of freelance experience, I know how to anticipate the unique, natural moments of a dynamic event.

EVENTS
I have shot a number of corporate events in the region and continue to book them when the opportunities arise. They tend to involve both photojournalism and staged portraits, so they are a natural fit for me.
SESSIONS
I regularly book portrait sessions in the Lake Tahoe area and beyond. These shoots can be a simple one hour shoot at a vacation rental for a family reunion or a sunrise hike to celebrate an engagement. Whatever the occasion, the goal is always to leave my clients with a variety of images that they will appreciate for years to come.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America, the Wedding Photojournalist Association, and Fearless Photographers. I also consider myself a highly experienced wedding photographer, having shot weddings all over the Lake Tahoe region, Reno, Sacramento, the California foothills, and other parts of Northern California.
