FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep pricing fair and straightforward. Because I’m a local owner-operator with lower overhead, I can often offer more affordable pricing and flexible options than larger companies. For repair/estimate calls, I charge a transparent service/diagnostic fee. Depending on the situation, I may be able to present both repair and replacement options so the customer can choose what makes the most sense for their home and budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually I start by asking a few questions about the issue and, if possible, photos of the equipment, thermostat, or electrical panel. For repair calls, I come out, diagnose the problem, explain what I found, and discuss possible next steps. For replacement or new installation projects, I assess the home, existing equipment, and layout, then go over practical options and explain the differences clearly. My goal is to make the process simple, transparent, and easy to understand from start to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a licensed HVAC contractor and have hands-on field experience working on residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ducted and ductless systems, controls, and diagnostics. I handle the EPA Universal certificate as well. My training comes from real-world installation, service, troubleshooting, and continued learning through equipment manuals, technical documentation, and manufacturer-related resources. I focus on practical knowledge, proper diagnosis, and doing the job correctly.
