Introduction: I am an opera tenor and actor with international performing experience including the World Tour of Phantom of The Opera and 300 stage roles, offering voice lessons for all musical styles, especially for classical and musical theater. First lesson is a free introduction lasting at least a half hour. Then $60 per online lesson lasting at least 60 minutes. Please add comments on your favorite music and singers when you apply. Ross is a gem, such a wealth of knowledge and talent that makes one want to do better! His sense of humor and personality are easy to blend with. I’m a much better singer after just a few lessons. Ross quickly identified both my strengths and weaknesses and helped me to become physically aware of my body while singing! I adore this man and would recommend him to anyone looking to improve on their talents!

Highly recommend! I've been working with Ross for a few months now, seeing him every 2-4 weeks usually. I love his teaching style and I feel much more confident singing now, hitting notes and trying styles I wouldn't have gone for before. Unlike some other teachers I tried working with in the past (as someone who never had formal musical training getting into it later in life), he didn't immediately focus on everything wrong with my voice or technique. He instead teaches me incremental improvements in my technique in ways that are easy to understand, records it and plays it back to me to show the impact those small changes can have. He's also a down to earth nice person who is genuinely passionate about the art of singing and wants you to enjoy it. His passion is contagious.

Ross helped our daughter for a couple of months to prepare for a singing audition, and we couldn't be more pleased with her progress! He took her from a place of shyness to a range and strength we didn't even know she had. We couldn't be more pleased with his knowledge, patience, and effectiveness, and we plan on calling on him again to continue the work started with her.

Ross Halper has been my singing teacher for several years now. Following his instruction, has developed and expanded my voice in ways that were unexpected , and the discovery process was very positive. My range has expanded , both high and low , and I am now learning classical operatic and broadway repertoire that was unimaginable just a few years ago. I have learned an incredible amount from Ross and his instruction has improved my singing dramatically. Ross has a tremendous amount of experience and talent that he's able to transmit to his students, all while making sure they have a great time in the process! Working with Ross has been absolutely amazing. I had no formal experience with voice going into lessons, and Ross has given me a tremendous amount of guidance and instruction on all aspects of the voice. I would recommend Ross to anyone thinking about taking voice lessons!
