What impressed me most about Epic Energy was their speed to install. From Contract Signing to my Roof and Solar being installed was less than 2 weeks! Just in time before the rainy season. I dealt with Justin Simmons and he could't have made the process simpler. I am very pleased and will definitely recommend to family and friends.
I trust no one but Aaron and the Pi Electric and Solar crew for performing the highest level of customer service and advanced technology around. I needed a 200 amp panel installed with an impossible turnaround - after contacting multiple local companies, Aaron was the first to respond and the quickest to my property. I was back up and running before the day's end. And to know that Pi Electric and Solar is taking care of my Solar needs? Well I'm set! When you want it done right, make it as easy as PIE! Thanks again, Aaron!
Maria was able to honestly answer all of our questions and concerns about going with solar. The installers were fast, efficient, and friendly. Very happy with entire process.
We got our Sunpower solar panels installed way quicker than anticipated ..... and I thank Kenneth Williams and everyone else at Sunpower for all they did to get the process completed so quickly! Excellent job!
Excellent quality, courteous, and professional work! We had 3 projects done: hardwood and tile flooring throughout our 2 story home, solar panels installation, and frontyard and backyard landscaping. We are very pleased with the results. Will definitely turn to them for future home improvements needs!
After researching many companies, I found The Solar Bros on Yelp last year and decided to give them a call because of all the great reviews they had. We spoke to Jacob who did a phone interview first and asked me all of the initial questions about our current usage, PG&E billing, and what our ultimate goals were for solar power. After the phone call, a home visit was scheduled about two days later where he came out and showed us a customized presentation for our house and how we could best achieve 100% solar generation for the lowest cost. The Solar Bros have industry leading panels to achieve a higher power output per panel than any other manufacturer. We were able to purchase less of their 360 watt panels than would have been necessary from a competitor with 260 watt panels. The Solar Bros also uses "micro inverters", which means each panel on the roof has it's own power inverter which makes having one central inverter unnecessary. This is great for future expansion to add more panels as central inverters can only handle a limited number of panels per unit. The Solar Bros warranty is also pretty great. They offer 25 years on both the product and power generation, claiming that their panels will still generate 60% more power at the 25 year mark than the current competitions' product. After the in-home meeting I received one more quote from another local solar company, but they could not beat the price+minimum number of panels+warranty that ultimately sold us on The Solar Bros. We did decide to purchase/finance as opposed to leasing the equipment. Once we gave approval to The Solar Bros to proceed, the loan process and inspection all happened within a week after. Initially they had told us it could be up to 6-8 weeks before our installation date, so imagine my shock when they called to schedule the installation only two weeks later! The installation crew did a great job for us. The install took two days. On day one they removed the concrete tiles where the panel mounts go, attached the panel mounting hardware to the roof, and installed the flashing around them. On day two they installed the panels, the control unit, and wired everything up. All of the workers were friendly and they were even considerate enough to cordon off our front garden area to prevent anyone from accidentally stepping in it. The city inspector came that afternoon and signed off on the work. Before they left I was shown the complete system and all of the work done; plus they assisted me with creating an account and downloading the iPhone monitoring app. The last step was to wait for authorization from PG&E to flip the switch and go live with solar! I received email notification from PG&E about five days later so I went to the garage and (unceremoniously) turned on the solar breakers to activate the system. We've been running since January 14th and it's been pretty awesome to see in the monitoring software how much power we generate vs. how much we use each day. Slightly less than a month from start to finish and an easy and professional experience from these folks!
We love our solar panels!! We would highly recommend synergy power.
We have had the pleasure of working with Robert on several occasions. When we first moved into our house in Moraga, he installed ceiling lights, recessed lights and dining room chandeliers in several rooms. Subsequently, he installed outside low-voltage lighting, did the electrical work for our kitchen remodel and upgraded our panel. Robert has always provided us with excellent service at a very reasonable price. He is professional, yet very personable. He offers great advice and is dependable and accessible. I look forward to working with him again when we have another electrical project.
Install main panel and sub panel. Very good job everything went great.
Excellent. Very professional. Answered all our questions. Mike is the first solar person my husband and I felt very comfortable around. Total satisfaction. Great product presentation by a great person.
I needed a dedicated circuit run to my hot tub. A friend who had trouble with his solar system recommended Charlie's Electric Avenue. New conduit, dedicated breaker, conductors, exterior outlet housing, painted too. Charlie takes pride in his work and it shows. I'm thinking of building out my garage with more power and when I do I know who I'll call.
We got our system through Solar Harmonics about six years ago and couldn't be happier. The solar panel installation went smoothly, the panels work great and now we have an on-going credit with PG&E. We also have a 25-year warranty that is backed by an insurance company that will protect us in case anything ever goes wrong. As far as installation companies go, the sales team was up front and honest with the costs, able to talk me through why a solar lease was bogus (spend 3 minutes on the internet and you won't ever consider a company who even offers leasing), and the installers were professional. Since going solar with Solar Harmonics I have happily referred all of my friends and family to them - and NONE of them have regretted going solar with them. When driving through my neighborhood I shake my head when I see my neighbors going with another company. "Too late, you should've done more research - or asked me!" Solar Harmonics is the best solar company in Northern California, hands-down.
For several years, I have wanted solar panels for our home, especially since having our house re-roofed. Fortunately, I was contacted, first by a couple of salesmen from Tesla Solar, Inc., and then later from Terri Loftus, who was working in Sacramento. At first, I was skeptical, but Terri's gentle and reassuring comments over several calls convinced me to look into laying out $21,553, which for a retired teacher on a fixed income is not chump change. It is a serious investment for one who will be far outlived by a system fully guaranteed for 25 years. That was in the summer of 2017. My wife and I decided to go ahead with the purchase of a solar system in October of 2017. Terri was patient with my myriad of questions and the baggage of uncertainties I came with. By the end of October, after Terri helped me cut through all the red tape from the Humboldt County Planning Commission and the PG&E bureaucracy, the system was installed and turned on October 27. The electric smart meter read 444507 kWh, which is important to this review. At the time, I was using about 550 kWh of electricity per month. When the solar system went in, that amount dropped radically. The electricity usage for our coldest month, darkest month dropped from $112 to $18 (see below). One of our rainiest months is between February and March. Again, a radical drop as the chart shows. The last chart below shows a yearly comparison of energy use from February 2017 to February 2018. Huge difference. But the comparison I like the most is what I will be seeing until the winter months' overcast comes back, and that is the April electrical expenses. See below. The credit goes into my account to offset any future electrical expenses. Most of the people I have spoken with are concerned about the price. Actually, it is very affordable. We put $9,000 down, paid $1,000 up front for the loan, and financed $11,553. The payments were $52 a month. The government reimbursed us 30% of our cost, making our total investment $15,000 and change, which we paid off in six months. The system added about $30,000 to the value of the house, making the cost of our investment a negative $9,000. Had we continued making the payments, we still would have been putting money in the bank, because our average monthly savings on electrical costs is $120, meaning we would still be saving around $70 a month with the payments. We chose to be out from underneath any debt, and we figure our system will have paid for itself in seven or eight years. In the event that you sell your home prior to paying off any loan on the solar system, you would just transfer the loan to the new owners. No problem, and Terri would assist you in that. There is one more thing I particularly like about the system Terri sold me: the guarantee. It carries a 25 year warranty, and the system is hooked up through my wifi to the office in Chico, so if anything goes wrong with it, the installers know about it immediately and what the specific problem is, so that they will know how to repair it upon arrival. I should also make a final comment. We live in a very overcast area that has only about 170 days of clear sunlight per year, but despite that, our electrical bills have plummeted. I strongly recommend anyone to invest in a solar system, and especially from Terri Loftus, for she will guide you through the whole process effortlessly. Sincerely, Allan Edwards 3 Attachments
I have been wanting to go solar for several years now. It came down between choosing Silverline Solar or Solar City, whom both gave me great quotes. I ended up going with Silverline Solar and it was the best decision I ever made. Not only was their customer service superior, but they were even able to save me much more money than Solar City! I am very pleased with my new solar panels and Silverline Solar. They made the whole process very easy to understand and much faster than I expected. I recommend Silverline Solar to all of my friends and family who are considering going solar
Everything went well from quick install to customer service and prompt responses.
