Introduction: My name is Luisa, and I have a master's degree in Modern languages and a bachelor's in French language from Millersville University and Dickinson College. I have worked as a teacher in several colleges and schools in South America and the United States. I am fluent in both languages since I have a family background in both and able to teach them at a basic, intermediate or advanced levels.
I have significant experience teaching foreign languages to American students from 3rd to 11th graders, and such experience allows me to foster a love and appreciation of the Spanish language through French and Hispanic literature and culture.
All activities revolve around the four skills of language learning: speaking, writing, listening, and reading.
I know I am an excellent asset to any educational institution or individual who is interested in leading their students, himself or herself to achieve a very fluent Spanish or French level, as well as advanced reading and comprehension skills that would give them, him, or her the tools to cope with every day's ordinary situations, and, in some cases, expand to more technical language skills required in certain professions like economics, medical, criminal justice, etc.
The following are the institutions I have worked for:
* Harrisburg Area Community College
* Milton Hershey School
* Hanover High School
* New Jewish Community High School, where I'm still working
I am convinced that serious teachers and tutors are those who are able to expand their knowledge on a particular subject. I offer high-quality language teaching and tutoring which I was able to master.
