About this pro
Tom was very responsive to my inquiries and took the time to find out what I really needed. We discussed my little project and he immediately grasped what needed to be done. He was easy to talk to and straightforward, which I appreciate. Even though I ended up finding someone closer home, I really got the impression he was a true craftsman and had the skills and experience to complete any project. I would definitely call him in the future.Mar 29, 2018Verified

Tom and his team did incredible work to design, build and install our home office and library. We gave him a rough sketch and some inspiration and he delivered a beautiful product for us. We are thrilled with the result and will definitely work with him again for our next project.Feb 24, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing isn't complicated, but it is pretty precise. It takes into account all the elements that make up the project; like door style, material choices, numbers of drawers and many more. Any choice the client makes that affects the cost is obviously going to affect the final price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I first try to get a feel for what they're looking for, and whether they're the kind of people I would like to work with. We aren't a "build em, slap em in and move on to the next one" kind of operation. We want to work with people who care about their finished product, and are willing to take the time to do something they'll enjoy for years to come.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Pretty much everything I know about cabinetmaking I have learned from experience. I don't have any sort of training in construction, unless you count several decades of diving in head-first. I was a math major in college, and I use a lot of the math I learned when I'm doing cabinet layouts.
