- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on my new client's wishes, we either have an in person meeting or a telephone conversation, so I can learn more about their specific interests, such as creative approach, location, anticipated expectations and any particular ideas they may have. I especially enjoy getting a sense of their personalities, as it is wonderful when a personality shines in a photo!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a few courses in photography at Foothill College and San Jose Camera. I also belong to a couple of photograpy meet-up groups.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I photographed many events for family and friends over the years and so many of them recognized my passion for photography and ability to engage quickly with others. That said, I was encouraged to start a professional business and I am so glad I did! My love for photography is so intense ... it doesn't feel like work at all :-)
