FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep up with several professional resume writers on LinkedIn and I will soon be getting my professional resume writer certification.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have written resumes for teachers, healthcare workers, sales and advertising people, post-military folks, and a few college grads.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please forget the 1-page rule. If you have significant time and experience, you merit 2 (or more!) pages. Many people will tell you that everyone lies on their resume. I do not recommend that. Instead, I advise that you think hard about the things you love to do, the things your friends and family say you are good at, and the skills or knowledge you would use if you could create the job of your dreams. From this point, you and I can talk about how to highlight your resume with a unique personal description that shines a spotlight on your resume to help it stand out from those of the other job candidates.
