Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My reviews speak to my friendly, helpful nature and my flexibility. I think my own curious and easy-going nature comes through in my client relationships. I enjoy getting to know new people and learning about what they do. Every new client is a new source of information and enrichment in my life, and each new demand in terms of format or layout is a challenge I love to embrace and grow from.

After looking into various resume writing companies and going over reviews, my husband and I decided to go with Karen. She is great at keeping in contact and informed as to what she has in mind and where she is with the resume and/or cover letter process. I also like how she keeps you abreast of charges with an updated invoice. Often resume writing companies charge $200-300 for a resume and cover letter but you are not sure exactly what you’re getting with that. Not the case with Karen. She has a great way of phrasing or rephrasing accomplishments and duties, giving life to dull buzz word filled job descriptions. The end product ascetically looks great and the reworked content is phenomenal. If the option was available to give more than 5 stars we would.

Stephanie and Sam are high quality people who are easy and reliable to work with. They gave me ample information to work with, which allowed me to provide them the high quality documents they needed. It was a genuine pleasure to work with them.

Thank you for this opportunity to share my experience with karen kungie- torres.I overheard in a meeting that she was a resume writer and I really needed this service as I was unable to get one together on my own.I provided as much information as I could and she was very professional in her manner of approach and I felt very comfortable rather than vulnerable and exposed.she was able to review my information, provide a format that was easily readable and felt like I was actively participating and consulted with integrity and concern for the product being developed.all of the process was handled in a timely fashion and the rough draft was amazing.I was so impressed with the configuation of the information that said who I was.any changes and suggestions from me to personalize were openly encouraged and taken with enthusiasm and incorporated in an organized manner that helped me to feel like I would have a beautiful example to look forward to share. I felt I was informed on current trends and what works for what specific and or general positions I would be interested in appling for and it really helped to view examples of the different aspects of what a resume should include in terms of format.bullets of sections to include, considering the uniqueness of each personal client.I felt I was afforded the time I needed to feel like I gave this project my all and to be satisfied and content with closure. I would refer anyone to work with karen with no reservation.she is a master of her craft and I wish her the best in all future endeavors with this service.thank you for this opportunity to share my review, sincerely, tanya torres.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I keep up with several professional resume writers on LinkedIn and I will soon be getting my professional resume writer certification.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have written resumes for teachers, healthcare workers, sales and advertising people, post-military folks, and a few college grads.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please forget the 1-page rule. If you have significant time and experience, you merit 2 (or more!) pages. Many people will tell you that everyone lies on their resume. I do not recommend that. Instead, I advise that you think hard about the things you love to do, the things your friends and family say you are good at, and the skills or knowledge you would use if you could create the job of your dreams. From this point, you and I can talk about how to highlight your resume with a unique personal description that shines a spotlight on your resume to help it stand out from those of the other job candidates.
